Manchester United's squad last year were the "most expensive ever assembled" in football, says a Uefa report.
曼聯去年的隊伍陣容是足球界「有史以來最昂貴的組隊」，歐足聯的一份報告如此描述。

The European Club Finance and Investment Landscape report says United's players at the end of their 2023 financial year cost 1.42bn euros (£1.21bn) in combined transfer fees.
歐洲俱樂部財政與投資版圖報告表示，曼聯球員在2023財報年在轉會費的總額耗資了14.2億歐元(12.1億英鎊)。


The 2020 Real Madrid squad were previously the most costly at £1.13bn.
在此之前，耗資最大的是11.3億英鎊的2020皇馬陣容。

United's squad included £82m Antony, £80m Harry Maguire, £73m Jadon Sancho and £70m Casemiro.
曼聯的陣容包含了8200萬英鎊的安東尼、8000萬英鎊的哈利馬奎爾、7300萬英鎊的傑登桑喬與7000萬英鎊的卡塞米羅。

The total does not include £72m Rasmus Hojlund, £55m Mason Mount or £47m Andre Onana, all of whom joined in the 2023 summer transfer window.

United finished third in the Premier League last season, their first campaign under manager Erik ten Hag.

The reports says three other squads - Manchester City, Chelsea and Real - cost more than £1bn in transfer fees.

Chelsea's figures go up to June 2022, meaning the £850m they spent from the summer of that year to August 2023 is not counted.

British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe's deal to buy a 25% stake in United was approved by the Football Association on Wednesday.
英國億萬富翁Sir Jim Ratcliffe購買25%曼聯股份的決定足協將在禮拜三正式被批准。

The purchase is worth about £1.03bn and his Ineos Group will take control of football operations.
這場購買案價值10億零3百萬英鎊，並且他的Ineos Group(編注：樹立在倫敦世界第四大化工公司/2017年開展汽車業務，還有一些類似購買曼聯的四處投資)將會掌控足球運作事宜。

閱讀札記005─大樹：第一場我與孩子的繪本旅行

大樹  Big Tree 出版：童畫藝術 作者：王蘭˙張哲銘 這是我唯一找到的一張照片了，其他的照片都不可考了，照片來自 這裡         這篇閱讀札記將是在它的前後幾篇札記裡頭最特別、但也可能是寫得最凌亂、最不知所云的一篇。因為這本是我一共讀了至少十七遍的書──陪伴了我近兩個月的晨讀時間，巡迴了十六個班級──錘鍊成了一次獨特的閱讀體驗，我想在讀了一本繪本那麼多次之後，這個大樹與動物們的故事值得被記錄成一篇札記。         這本繪本的目標讀者設定在五到七歲，學習目的是讓孩子在故事中學習愛與關懷、朋友的重要──整個故事其實有不少盲點，倘若照邏輯細細深究的話──只是這些盲點在一個簡單的、能讓孩子快樂吸收的前提下，大都是可以被忽略的。所以我固然真的、真的很想用誠實預告的口吻來分析這本書(可惜我沒有預告旁白神奇的Epic Voice)，但終究是打消了這個念頭，我該用溫柔來對待這個可愛的小故事。用誠實預告的口吻來認真分析，這就像是追究《海底總動員》裡頭魚兒們如何在水中對話，《冰原歷險記》裡劍齒虎迪亞哥有整整四集的時間卻從未對喜德大開殺戒一般荒謬。(雖然我真的覺得誠實預告會抓住這點來酸)         故事簡單是理所當然。一棵會說話的大樹在各種動物在它身上嬉鬧玩耍了許多日子後，不堪其擾的大樹終於忍無可忍的趕走牠們。但在將牠們驅逐之後，侵襲它的孤獨感與寒冬使它對先前的驅趕感到後悔。在下個春天到來的時候，它才下定決心張開雙臂來歡迎牠們的再次歸來。        書中是用「朋友」的概念來說明那些動物對大樹的重要性，但其實我認為不然(雖然大多數的班級我並沒有多做解釋)。這個故事比起說明朋友的重要性，我覺得更多的是在講人是需要與其他人相處的，或是向小朋友說明對別人不好，讓自己身旁無人與你相處，自己同樣也會難受──類似於「你不付出愛與關懷(老實說我又覺得比起關懷，大樹的行為更像容忍)，別人也不會對你愛與關懷」的觀念。好吧，至少它仍是一本「愛與關懷」繪本。           在向孩子們說這個故事的時候...
