閱讀札記006─野心時代：新舊中國的社經指南

封面。圖片來自 這裡 野心時代： 在新中國追求財富、真相和信仰 Age of Ambition: Chasing Fortune, Truth and Faith in the New China 出版：八旗文化 ( 讀書共和國 ) 作者：歐逸文 (Evan Osnos)          這是一本深入淺出，但是因為觸及的議題深遠廣闊，對於寫下這本書的札記有點難著手。但是總得作個紀錄，好唄，那麼洒家就來寫寫看唄，如有讀得不通之處，那必定是我的功力不足，就在此先消個毒啦。          看完這本書以後，難免直覺會去與前陣子看的《尋路中國》兩相比較。即使兩書的紀錄方式、作者的行文風格與當時中國的時空背景已經大不相同──這兩名作者恰好記錄下了中國轉型的兩個不同階段──但記錄的都是同一個國家，在高壓專制的、潛規則的中國政府底下那群充滿爆發力、充滿能量的中國人民。這種能量與爆發力被歐逸文稱之為「野心」，也是台灣的大人們稱之的「狼性」。 作者。來自 這裡 。          光是歐、何二人的撰文手法就有所差異。何偉的橫切面是帶有社會關懷的記錄下他在旅行 ( 沿著長城 ) 、三岔村、特區深入生活之後與人相處的景象，類似於一個人類學家在進行一場文化研究。對社會中發生的事情，他參與其中，而不干涉其中 ( 魏子淇的孩子重病是少數的例外 ) 。比如共產黨的政治力量，何偉也是這麼從旁記錄著黨在中國的權力角力，記錄方式避開了直接與共產黨折衝的可能。           歐逸文則不然。他選擇透過《野》與共產黨直接對話，除了身在該環境中，還將在中國社會不公義的壓迫手段 ( 多是共產黨透過其盤根錯結的權力架構施展 ) 書寫成冊以向外發聲。何偉是將自己的主觀盡量抽離，歐逸文則試將其意識形態參與、介入其中並嘗試發生改變，在無力改變，反而可能被利用的情況下則斷然抽離──我指的是《野心時代》並沒有在中國出一個「專門針對中國的特殊版本」，而選擇在相對保有創作自由的台灣出版這個事件。       ...
